Capturing simple
subjects with an
extravagant use
of materials

ABOUT

Victoria_Cornwell

Victoria was born in Hampshire in 1967. She studied screen printing at A-Level and then went to Portsmouth Art College. It was here that she decided on a career in the commercial world of graphic design. After a four year course at London College of Printing she travelled extensively through Europe, Africa, United States, Mauritius and Central America. This provided much inspiration but it was not until 2000 that she decided to return to fine art. Through simple subjects and an extravagant use of materials, Victoria’s work tries to capture some of the very basic aspects in life.

She works in oils depicting simple still-lives.
